As we continue to grow across California, we are seeking a forward-thinking Executive Director, Multi-Site to help shape the future of senior living at our Varenna and Villa Capri campuses.
The Executive Director serves as the chief operating and cultural leader for a multi-site boutique senior living campus, with full accountability for operational excellence, resident experience, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and brand stewardship. This role requires a sophisticated hospitality mindset, deep operational acumen, and the ability to lead diverse teams across multiple communities while delivering a consistently elevated resident and family experience.
The Executive Director is a visible, trusted presence across our Varenna and Villa Capri campuses—setting the standard for service, professionalism, and excellence—while acting as a strategic partner to ownership and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Provide executive leadership for all communities within the campus, ensuring alignment with organizational mission, values, and brand standards.
Translate ownership and corporate strategy into operational execution with measurable outcomes.
Serve as the senior decision-maker on campus, balancing strategic vision with hands-on leadership.
Lead campus-wide initiatives related to growth, innovation, culture, and performance improvement.
Champion a luxury, hospitality-driven culture that prioritizes dignity, personalization, and exceptional service.
Ensure a consistent, high-touch resident and family experience across all sites.
Maintain strong visibility with residents and families; address concerns proactively and diplomatically.
Oversee programming, dining, lifestyle, and environmental standards to reflect a boutique, differentiated offering.
Hold full P&L responsibility for the campus, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
Drive occupancy, revenue growth, and margin optimization while maintaining service excellence.
Partner with sales and marketing leaders to execute sophisticated occupancy and branding strategies.
Analyze performance metrics and implement data-driven operational improvements.
Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing leadership teams across multiple sites.
Establish clear expectations, accountability, and professional development pathways.
Foster a culture of collaboration, engagement, and service excellence.
Model executive presence, emotional intelligence, and integrity in all interactions.
Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations across communities.
Partner closely with clinical leadership to support quality outcomes and resident safety.
Proactively manage risk, surveys, and audits with a best-in-class compliance posture.
Maintain strong relationships with regulators, referral partners, and community stakeholders.
Act as a brand ambassador within the local market and broader senior living community.
Cultivate relationships with physicians, referral sources, community leaders, and partners.
Represent the campus in public forums, industry events, and community engagements.
Uphold the aesthetic, service, and cultural standards expected of a boutique luxury organization.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of Executive Director or senior leadership experience in senior living, multi-unit operations preferred.
Proven experience overseeing multiple sites or large, complex campuses (250+ units).
Demonstrated success with P&L responsibility, occupancy growth, and operational optimization.
Strong working knowledge of senior living regulations and compliance standards.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
California RCFE license required within 30 days of employment.
Experience in boutique, luxury, or high-end hospitality-driven environments.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred.

Salary Range $220K - $250K annually, plus bonus
